Fun at the Panto

The Whole School Panto

Y5 class began the day at 8:30 in the market square. We stood impatiently in the memorial hall. Queued in our year groups as the constant flow of excited children filled in through the double doors. All of a sudden, the coaches arrived and we walked over and sat down in our pairs.

When we finally got to Cheltenham we hovered in the reception of the theatre before dragging our stiff legs up the many, many flights of stairs and settled down into our seats, up on the balcony. It just so happened that Tweedy the clown 🀑(One of the two main characters) had the same idea and ran up to meet us! We all high-fived him as if he were a celebrity and soon after, the show had begun!πŸ‘πŸŽ¬πŸ‘

I’ve skipped the show because a) it was a long time ago b) it was a long panto and c) it would be a lot less interesting written down. During the show, we had a selection of biscuits and some water but by the time we were back at school everyone needed a good lunchπŸ₯ͺ! The pantomime was a huge enjoyment and success; the whole school was buzzing for the rest of the day.
